Our Team

A partner at ImageMaker, Dominique is Executive Creative Director, giving direction to a diverse team of artists and designers. She is also responsible for concept development and the visual and artistic quality of all corporate productions and campaigns. As a Director and Production Manager, she heads the Film & Video Production Department. Dominique started her career in 1986 as a Photojournalist and Conceptual Photographer in Europe after receiving a BA in Arts from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. For ten years, she traveled extensively, shooting photo documentaries and news photography for press agencies and publications. For five years, Dominique was an accredited Parliamentary Photographer for the Dutch Parliament. In Canada, she broadened her horizons with Film Direction and Production, 3D Animation, Writing, and New Media/Graphic Design, and worked in the film industry as a Stills Photographer.

As a Marketing and Communications Strategist, Mike's key strength is in assessing the marketing, advertising, publicity and communications needs of Resource and Engineering companies. With a unique combination of a science and engineering background, a solid understanding of marketing, and an artistic imagination, Mike lays the foundation for ImageMaker's unique productions and publicity campaigns. A true perfectionist with a gift for leadership and a love of learning, Mike oversees all projects to ensure that quality, impact and effectiveness are achieved.

As the Production Manager for the Production & Design Department, Nicole works closely with the Creative Director to ensure that productions run smoothly and achieve top quality within budget and deadlines. Years of working at the Vancouver Film School have given Nicole the skills to support ImageMaker's in-house team, while liaising with outside contractors such as writers, cinematographers and film crews. Nicole also helps manage various productions, and equipment and travel needs. Savvy with digital media technology, experienced in working in creative environments, and aware of how solid project management contributes directly to overall quality, Nicole a valuable member of the ImageMaker team.

Paul graduated from the Vancouver Film School as a classically trained animator and began his professional career as a Digital Compositor with Mercury Filmworks. He has worked on a number of films, videos and TV productions specializing in 3D modeling, animation and particle effects. Since joining ImageMaker, Paul has proven to be an invaluable asset in creating cutting edge, technically accurate 3D animations for the Resource industry. Paul is ImageMaker's expert in geological and technical data in relation to modeling high-end surfaces, intricate underground models, and complex infrastructures.

The newest member of ImageMaker, David graduated from the Art Institute of Vancouver in late 2007. Specializing in environment modeling and digital film editing, David brings a creative mind and a unique 3D vision to the team. With his resourceful, think-outside-the-box style, David can bring almost any object to three-dimensional life.
